Most orders are filled and shipped within 5 business days, and many orders will be shipped within 3 business days. As an online store, we do not carry a significant amount of inventory, but can usually obtain your items within 24 to 48 hours, depending on when your order is placed.
Orders are shipped according to the customer's selection. Typically, First Class, Priority and Express options are offered.
If you need your order in a hurry, you may select RUSH ORDER upon checkout (at Step 2). We will expedite your order to assure that the package leaves our store within 3 business days, possibly sooner. There is an $11.00 charge for rushed orders.
Why do we ship USPS Priority when there are cheaper alternatives?
Sometimes First Class shipping is cheaper. But shipping via USPS Priority offers our customers the following benefits: (1) Package tracking; (2) Faster delivery times; and, (3) Delivery confirmation. Cheaper alternatives such as First Class or Parcel Post offer none of those features or assurances. With USPS Priority, if your shipment gets lost, often we are able to locate it and get it redirected to you.
U.S. orders of $250 or more will require a signature at delivery.
If you select shipment by First Class, we recommend insuring your order.
The Tatting Corner cannot accept responsibility for lost orders shipped via First Class since package tracking and delivery confirmation is not available. With USPS insurance, you can get your money back should your order get lost and they are unable to locate it.
International customers assume responsibility for custom fees, if any.
For international shipments, available shipping options and rates will be presented specific to your country at checkout or when using the shipping cost estimator.
MEXICO: Due to the frequency of postal delivery issues in Mexico, we recommend sending shipments using Registered mail which increases the cost of the shipment. The Tatting Corner will communicate with the customer regarding this recommendation.
We ship via USPS for domestic and international orders. Available shipping options for your country are presented upon checkout.
Policy for Returns
Please contact the Tatting Corner for authorization and instructions if you wish to return your purchased merchandise. Open packages, damaged, marred or used merchandise are not returnable. Books, patterns and videos (VHS tape, CD or DVD) are not returnable.
Approved returns that are not due to an error on our part are subject to a 15% restocking fee. In addition, you are responsible for all shipping costs. The Tatting Corner will credit your account (less restocking & shipping fees) in the form of a gift certificate that you can use to purchase other merchandise on our website, or as a reimbursement to your credit card.
